Building on an empirical understanding of cognitive and social dimensions of interdisciplinary work, the project develops practical tools to guide quality interdisciplinary education.
Ulmer is "inventing electracy" in his courses. His presentation of argument tends to eschew print-normative rhetoric, so it is a lot of work for us book-biased types. It is a richly imagined form of "ludic pedagogy" that revolves around the student's interface with a particular problem of public policy.
